News from the Science and Technology Librarians

Hello, everybody!

Our staff and areas of responsibility have changed, so we want to give you an update at the beginning of the new semester.

Linn Elise Gulliksen has joined the staff. She will work as a University Librarian and is taking over after Kristian Solem. Inger Gåsemyr, Aina Øverås Skott and Linn Elise Gulliksen will be the Contact Librarians for the Faculty for Science and Technology. Aina will be the Contact Librarian for IDE and IMBM, as well as for Industrial Economy at ISØP. She is also working with bibliometrics. Aina has a Master’s degree in Materials Science from the University of Oslo and a one-year degree in Business Administration from BI Business School. She has worked at the University Library since November 2017. Linn Elise will be the Contact Librarian for IKBM and IMF, and for Planning at ISØP. She will also work with one of the University Library’s bigger projects at the time: the Digital Lab. Linn Elise has a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and Biotechnology from NTNU, as well as some subjects within Mathematics from UiO. She started at the University Library in July.

Inger will be the Contact Librarian for IER and IEP, and also for Societal Safety amd Risk Management at ISØP. In addition, Inger works with bibliometrics. Inger is a Cand. Scient. in Geology from the University of Bergen, with additional education within GIS and many years of experience as a University Librarian at UiS. We are looking forward to collaborating with the Faculty and individual Institutes in the upcoming year, and hope that we can develop the University Library together to provide an even better service to all employees and students!
